What are the benefits of waxing vs. shaving?

While shaving can remove body hair, it only removes the surface of the hair. Waxing removes the entire hair shaft, which means no stubble and immediately smooth skin. When hair is removed via waxing, it grows back thinner and finer. Plus, you can avoid the cuts and nicks that often come with shaving!

Does waxing hurt?

While waxing may be uncomfortable initially, this discomfort usually improves with each treatment. To lessen your discomfort, we recommend cutting down on shaving in between sessions and avoiding caffeine before your treatment.

How often should I get waxed?

Everyone is different, and the rate of hair growth varies from person to person. However, most people experience the smoothing effects of waxing for 3-7 weeks.

How can I prepare for my waxing session?

We recommend waiting until your hair is about a half-inch long before getting waxed. If your hair length is excessive, trim it down before your appointment. Additionally, you may take an over-the-counter pain medication, like Ibuprofen, 30 minutes prior to your appointment.
